Our Mission

Saving life on earth

Our mission on saving life on earth.

We are aware of the close connection between the welfare of humans and the life of a wide variety of animals and plants. Because of this, we work to secure a future for all species, great and small, who are on the verge of extinction. We advocate through science, the law and communication, laying emphasis on protecting the lands, waters, and climate that these species depend on for their survival.

We want the future generations after us to inherit a world that is full of biodiversity.

Green Nature was founded in late 2021 in Yaoundé, Cameroon. Our work is financed mostly by fundraising and donations from private individuals.

Mission

  1. The protection and sustainability of biodiversity through the equitable distribution of the benefits derived from the utilization of genetic resources with the overarching goal of inspiring activities that will result in a more sustainable future.
  2. Biodiversity conservation through ecosystems, species, and genetic resources with domains that are directly or indirectly related to biodiversity and its role in development, such as science, politics, and education, as well as agriculture, business, culture, and many other things.
  3. Stopping and reversing environmental deterioration and natural resource depletion, preserving the earth's biological and cultural variety, and ensuring sustainable lifestyles.
  4. To effect change toward sustainability and equality across and within societies via innovative ideas and solutions.
  5. Engage in lively campaigns to raise awareness, mobilize people, and form alliances with other groups, therefore connecting grassroots, national, and global fights.
  6. The conservation of ocean life by working with other stakeholders to maintain a balanced and thriving ocean ecosystem. Together, we work to protect marine species populations from decline and extinction, conduct research to understand their health and environment, and evaluate and monitor human activities that might affect them to ensure future generations may enjoy them.
